English Medium
Though Czech is the official language of the Czech Republic, the medium of instruction in professional institutions is English. The colleges use modern audio-visual equipments to impart knowledge besides the usual classroom lectures and practical training.
Course/Degree
Duration of Medical Course is 6 years and Dental Course is 5 years.On successful completion of the course, MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree is awarded. This degree is recognized by the Medical Council of India, W.H.O, EU, UK, USA and most of the major countries in the world.Departments, clinics and departments at the University Hospital instruct students in basic investigation methods, laboratory techniques, differential diagnostics and treatment principles. Great emphasis is placed on practical training.
PG Admission
When a student successfully completes his / her graduation in charles University, he / she can get PG Admission if he / she wants.
Medical library
The Medical Library of the Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Hradec Králové is a specialized department of the faculty providing library and information services for students and professional staff of the faculty and the University Hospital and other users.
The Medical Library collections involve textbooks, monographs, journals, theses and the electronic resources of books, journals, and bibliographic databases.
The library is located in the building Na Hradě in Dlouhá Street near the old town square. The library offers not only the lending departments but study rooms are also available. Another study room is located at the Educational Center at the University Hospital.
Bachelor’s and Master’s study program
The Master’s study program includes a 6-year program in General Medicine and 5-year program in Dentistry. Foreign students have the possibility of studying programs in General Medicine and Dentistry in English.
The Bachelor’s study program is accredited in Nursing, in the subject field of General Nursing, and in the Specialization in Health Care in the subject field of Physiotherapy.
Education is provided in theoretical, preclinical, clinical and preventive fields.
Theoretical departments equip students with elementary knowledge necessary for appropriate understanding of morphological, functional and pathological processes in the organism.

Students
The annual intake of students is only 100 and they are divided into batches of 20. The students are drawn from countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. At present, there are many boys and girls including nuns from India, who are studying in these colleges.
